Getting started as a Home Educator is really not that hard in Arkansas.  You are required to register your child or children with your local school district.  You are required to turn in an Intent to Homeschool Form.  You need to look at the scope and sequence for your child(ren)'s grade levels.  Look at their learning style and write down these factors.  Then you can systematically begin to narrow down the search for the perfect curriculum for your Home School Program.  Join a local group that you can actually meet with and ask questions.  We are working on a page that will be just for newbies to Home Education to ask questions and get support.   A newbie can be defined as teaching your child a new skill....so that could be all of us.  We are excited to help you.  So keep coming back.  We hope to get this all in place by May 1st.  Thanks and welcome to Home Education!!!
