Dress Code & Sexual Morality
Wow, I bet you are eager to see what we say here. There is so much to say and yet we all know right from wrong.
Everyone has an opinion on how much skin is too much so how do we agree?
Well, we are just going to follow a moderate conservative dress code for our activities. Here are some guidelines...
Girls...
The truth is that the more comfortable anyone feels with showing off more and more skin, the easier it will be for them to fall into sexually compromising situations. Talk to your kids about abstinence. Talk to your kids. Talk to your kids. We would like to say that home education guarantees that you will have sexually pure teens and that reality is 100% easier to achieve at home BUT we cannot ever guarantee that. We know that some of you are here because you are tired of all the things your child/teens are possibly being exposed to and you want change.
Dating, courtship, no dating, etc, those are personal family choices you have to make. We are all trying different avenues. I can tell you from personal experience that the best way to help through the flood of hormones is to build those relationships. Daddy's don't just love your daughters from a distance and say well mom is in charge. Take them out, make them feel like the princesses you want them to be. Mom's don't just assume dad will teach him how to be a man. The way that son treats you, helps you, loves you is just a look into the future of how they will treat other ladies in their lives. Have them take you out, have dad give them some money and let them pay for your night out. Encourage them to open doors, let them lift the heavy things for mom and sister.
Sometimes all of those efforts still aren't enough and the kids/teens stumble and lose the innocence. Then what? Love them. Help them. Ask the members if any others are going thru this and support each other. Pray for each other.
