Have you ever wondered about 4H or maybe you haven't even heard of it. Well, it is a youth based program available Nationwide. There is probably an active club near you. All you have to do is call your local county agent at the County Extension Office.
4-H Youth Development Program, prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, and marital or family status.
This is for all children ages 5 to 19 years of age.
The programs that are offered are self teaching style "projects" to be done as a family and often as a group. They have over 200 different projects kids can do currently. The levels of difficulty are increased as knowledge & skill is increased.
Scholarships are available for active 4H'ers for college.
Programs are only limited by your imagination!!
