We enjoyed our trip to the Memphis zoo!  It had been a few years since I had been and there were quite a few new things there.  The weather was great and I love we are able to go when there is not a crowd.

I believe he had the right idea.  After all the walking this is what I wanted to do when we got back but didn't get to.

It was a great day so glad we are able to do the field trips.  My dad was asking me about where I had went that night I told him we went to the zoo with the homeschool group.  Oh how many went and I told him, he was surprised that there were that many homeschoolers.  He has never supported me in my decision to homeschool in fact he has fought me on it.  He has seen that it is helping the girls but still fights me on it.  Like the first day of school this year he came over and the girls were here and he said oh I figure you had enough of that homeschooling last year and would have but them on the bus this year.  Do any of you have stuggles with your family like this?  My in-laws didn't like it to start out with but they saw how much it has helped the girls my mother in law is my biggest cheerleader now.  I know my daddy is from the old school he only got a 6th grade education then had to go to the field to work.  Well I will get off here got to get ready I have to go to the cattle sale and see what the calve prices are I have some ready to sell and then to a 4-H meeting. Thanks for reading and I welcome comments and any questions you have about farm life. Have a blessed day!

Yes, Becky, I still have problems with my parents not being supportive of our decision to homeschool. I just keep praying they will see it is much better for her.

Just keep doing what you know is right...what God has called you to do.
