Welcome to the Honey Farm and Homeschool.  Hope you enjoy this small look into our lives as we journey along doing what we feel the Lord has called us to do.  A little background about us I'm just a country gal who loves God, her husband, her kids, the farm and the life the Lord has blessed me with.  I'm living the life I always dreamed about raising cattle on the farm connected to my parents farm.  My husband, girls and I raise beef cattle.  I love to tease my husband because growing up he always said he wanted a college degree so he would never have to work on a farm.  But he learned that cattle farming is nothing like row crop farming.  Then he went and married a farmers daughter (who is a big tom boy).  I help my dad cut, rake and bale round bales of hay for our cows his and ours.  Yes I drive the tractors they are older than me and none have cabs on them.
We have chickens and raise baby calves on bottles sometimes we have one now.  We also homeschool our 3 girls that are still at home.  This is our 2nd year to homeschool all of them.  We have two kids that are grown.
So onward we go on this journey I hope you enjoy the post as I let you know the things that go on in our lives on the farm.  We never know from day to day what is going to happen next.  I try to show the girls how to use what they are learning and how it relates to real life.
